Today I am trying to figure out how to amalgamate the events of the week.  Elias and I attended a TEDx conference on courage,

Nicole was a butterfly in the elementary school production of Winnie the Pooh,

and, at long last, Elias’ best buddies from Vermont, Miles and Nate, came to visit.

In an effort to combine these three events,  I have placed Winnie the Pooh quotes on courage and friendship alongside images from our little week in this corner of the world. Keeping in mind that this post cannot go without mentioning the immense tanker loads of courage I want to deliver straight to the doorsteps of the family members who lost their beautiful little children this week to the hands of insanity.

There is something you must always remember, you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you.  You have to go to them sometimes.

to give way to the happiness of the one you love.

The sky is perfectly blue.  The clouds are perfect too.and here I am with you, what could be more right?

“Turn around, Piglet. Step lightly, Pooh.This silly ol’ dance is perfect for two.”

It’s more fun to talk with someone who doesn’tuse long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?”

“I wonder what Piglet is doing,” thought Pooh. 

“I wish I were there doing it, too.”

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.That’s why we call it the present, said  Winnie the Pooh.

Oh, Eeyore, you are wet!” said Piglet, feeling him. Eeyore shook himself,
and asked somebody to explain to Piglet what happened when you had been inside a river for quite a long time.”
