Every school day, I put on my art teacher hat, and become Ms. T.

When I look in the mirror before heading out to work, this is what I see staring back at me:

One day last week, I decided to take a picture of everyone I walked past on my way to work.  I don’t know if people were jumping out of the way to avoid the strange woman with the camera or what, but I only came across a few folks.  They all politely obliged.  Some even smiled.

This orchid was smiling so brightly, I couldn’t resist taking her photo as well.

across the bridge I went,

taking it all in, 

the beast

and the beauty.

When I got closer to school,

I did not

I kept on going…

until I made it to my classroom door…

for another day of art-

making.
