There was another  kiddie carnival celebration this weekend,

as Trinidad gears up for the big Carnival extravaganza next week.

Today, parading through the streets of St. James,

they came in every color of the rainbow.

It was by far the most beautiful lesson in color theory I have ever had the privilege to witness.

O is for Orange.

Y for Yellow

G is for Green

B is for for Blue

I is for Indigo

and V is for Violet.

Of course,

there is black and white.

The absence of color

and

the blending of all colors.

 Last but not least,

 comes pink.

Where would we be without pink?

Pink is its own category, in and of itself.

Just like carnival in Trinidad.
